It's real small, has an ipod dock, am/fm, and a clock/alarm. We can plug it in when we have hookups, or it runs on 6 AA batteries. Kelly and I bought a cool little battery operated radio specifically for our PUC. Trust me, no one expects that to come from a popup. It runs the electronics just fine.ĭredwolf, hide the sub under your camper. I originally had my equipment hooked directly to the batteries, but that was a pain in the butt, so I installed a new converter. The reason being that older converters don't have filtered 12V output, and would likely fry a stereo (or treasured Alpine amp ). You would need to run off of the battery. Jenna, If your converter is original to your '95 Destiny Royale, then don't connect a stereo (or any other sensitive electronics) directly to it. Thanks to this site we have already replaced our door handle, fixed the lights and got some great ideas to do this weekend for shelves.
#Bacini acoustica speaker how to
is there another way to hook up the power? We would love to install a outside light if someone can advise us how to install one of these as well. Unfortunately we do not have a outside light. We use the aux input on the radio for our iPod and the radio has a remote so we can adjust volume up and down from outside the camper. No cutting holes in the side of the camper. Takes about 2 minutes to attach the speakers when we setup. I installed my stereo inside the camper, but ran speaker wires outside under the camper and have some mounting screws on the frame of my PUC. Why not keep it simple and go with indoor/outdoor bookshelf type speakers?

You don't want to have to pull them off again! Just make sure you verify the speaker connections before you put the speakers in the putty tape. to seal them up, you just have to bed them in putty tape: I don't have a stereo, just amplifiers that I can hook up external sources (like my iPod) to: Here are some pictures of the speakers I installed.
